Mains Powered Photoelectric Smoke Alarm

Fitted with CAVIUS CORE technology, the Wireless Family, Mains powered Photoelectric Smoke Alarm is the smallest and most aesthetically pleasing 240v hardwired interconnected smoke alarm in New Zealand.

The CAVIUS Wireless Family range of smoke alarms interconnect with each other using, built in, innovative Radio Frequency technology, so that when one alarm activates, they all sound. The range between alarms will depend on the building materials and should be tested in each individual case. Setting up and interconnecting your alarms is simple and takes less than a minute.

CAVIUS alarms have been designed and manufactured to cope with the harsh environments, they include two levels of mesh screening to minimise insect and dust contamination – alleviating the potential for nuisance alarms. They have an easy to access 10-minute hush button (or the alarms can be silenced using the CAVIUS Smart Remote).

The AS3786:2014 certified alarm performs a chamber sensitivity calibration every 365 days allowing them to retain the optimal safety detection during its lifetime and comes with a 10-year warranty.

Photoelectric Smoke Alarms should be installed in all bedrooms, lounges and hallways. For other areas where a smoke alarm cannot be installed (such as the kitchen, garage, workshop, or laundry) a Wireless Family Heat Alarm is recommended.

NB: Mains Powered or hard wired smoke alarms need to be installed by a professional or registered electrician. There is a recess kit available for this product 2901RK
